Trauma-informed Psychological Evaluations

In Person & Online

When symptoms persist despite treatment, it can be deeply frustrating, confusing and exhausting. It might even lead some to sink into shame and self-blame.

Psychological testing offers a structured, evidence-based way to better understand why previous approaches may not have worked and what might help in the future. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach to testing, Dr. Majestro will personalize each evaluation to your specific needs and preferences.

Who benefits from Psychological Evaluation?

A Therapeutic Approach To Testing

Psychological testing can be helpful for those who:

  • Continue to struggle despite treatment

  • Have received multiple, often conflicting diagnoses

  • Experience overlapping symptoms (mood, anxiety, attention concerns, dissociation, emotion regulation difficulties) that make the appropriate diagnosis unclear

  • Want a clearer understanding of your psychological functioning

Treatment-Resistant & Complex Presentations

A Provider Who Specializes In…

Many folx seeking out psychological testing have symptoms that don’t fit neatly into one category. They might have received conflicting diagnoses from providers and rarely receive education on their symptoms, their development and what maintains them. Testing with Dr. Majestro helps to clarify:

  • Why your symptoms may not have responded to standard treatments

  • Whether multiple mental health conditions are present and complicating treatment needs

  • The role of trauma and long-term coping patterns in adapting to difficult environments

  • Your strengths and internal resources that can support healing
